Hi.
I am Lars. I am a designer,
and this is how much I charge...
usually.

“How much does it cost?”

Below is the typical project process and pricing. You may wonder “Does it always goes just like that?” And, no, it doesn’t. Sometimes it goes quite differently. Sometimes things can happen like “a unique magical insight” and other times the magic is more difficult to conjure up. Regardless, I try to keep pricing related to value at all times, and will make some adjustments described below.

Preliminary Internet and directory search to eliminate apparent conflicts and to continue the process without undue loss of time. Not that legal trademark search is not in the scope of this project. Any selected name candidates must be registered separately through the proper legal and governmental processes under the client’s direction.

>Yes. I sometimes adjust pricing for a small business client under various circumstances. Here are some common scenarios:
  1. Scope of Work: If the client requests additional revisions, extra services, or expands the project’s scope beyond the initially agreed-upon terms, I may adjust the pricing to reflect the added work.
  2. Complexity of the Project: If your project is more complex than normal, such as requiring specialized skills or extensive research, the I may adjust the pricing accordingly.
  3. Urgency or Tight Deadlines: Rush projects often require additional resources and effort. In such cases, I may apply a rush fee or adjust the pricing to accommodate the accelerated timeline.
  4. Longer deadlines: When a project takes a long time there is more work required to keep the project alive creatively. Longer processes will be charged accordingly. In some cases a client may pause a project to accommodate their situation. I will charge a “project pause and restart fee’ to account for the extra time and effort.
  5. Your Budget: Sometimes, I will adjust my pricing to align with your budget, especially if it’s a long-term or repeat client and maintaining a good relationship is important.
  6. Value-added Services: If want me to provide additional services or expertise beyond the scope set out above, such as providing consulting on branding or marketing strategies, we will work out a way to charge going forward.
  7. Market Conditions: Changes in the market or inflation may cause changes in my pricing.
  8. Special Circumstances: Sometimes there may be other special circumstances that are unique to the project or to the client that warrant adjusting the pricing, such as unforeseen challenges or opportunities.
In any case, transparent communication and expectation setting is crucial. I will clearly explain the reasons for any pricing adjustments and ensure we agree on the revised terms before proceeding with the project.
