About a year after the project was completed, the principal of St. Mark’s College and the President of Corpus Christi of St. Mark’s College, Mark Hagemoen, was appointed as the bishop of the Diocese of Mackenzie-Fort Smith. Father Mark contacted me following his appointment to work on his coat of arms. And then, subsequently, an update to the coat of arms when he was appointed Bishop of Saskatoon.

After having served the MacKenzie-Fort Smith diocese from Yellowknife for several years, Bishop Hagemoen was moved to the diocese of Saskatoon. This required an update to the code of arms with imagery and symbols relating to Saskatoon, as shown above.
